How Do You Handle the Storms of Life?

Mark 4:37-41 (NIV)
"A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke Him and said to Him. 'Teacher, don't you care if we drown?' He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, 'Quiet! Be still!' Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to His disciples, 'Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?' They were terrified and asked each other, 'Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!'"

When life's problems beat vehemently against our vessel of flesh, how do we react? Do we cry out like the disciples and plead with the Lord that life isn't fair? Or do we rest in the fact that the Lord will work out the problem for our good. Even though the problems of life are raging all around us, we must keep in mind that the Lord is in the problem with us.

So, the next time a problem should arise, and it will, Jesus will rescue you in the situation, so you don't drown under the waves of circumstances.
