Are You Green With Envy?

Proverbs 14:30 (KJV)
"A sound heart is the life of the flesh; but envy the rottenness of the bones."

Jealousy will literally eat your heart out. When we have a jealous heart, our focus is not on the Lord, but on wishing we were someone else. When you get the spirit of jealousy, it is hard to shake it off. We should never envy someone because God blesses whomever He chooses to bless at that particular point in time. We should be thankful for the gifts He has blessed us with. How can He bless us when we envy what another person has? So when the twinge of jealousy hits you like a ton of bricks, rebuke that feeling and count your blessings.
