Have You Checked Your Spiritual Home Lately? |
Colossians 3:2 (NASB) As I was driving through an area with spacious homes, I couldn't help thinking about how much time I spend on my physical dwelling versus my spiritual dwelling. I'm not against owning a nice home or spending time tending to it, because the Lord has blessed us with these nice things in life. But when we focus more on maintaining our physical homes versus our spiritual ones, our spiritual homes may be in the process of becoming ruined. Let's focus more on our spiritual homes, so that when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, we will not be spiritually bankrupt. Besides, our physical dwellings will one day become nonexistent, but our spiritual dwellings will live on for eternity. Let's spend time building our spiritual dwelling, so that we will not be ashamed when the Lord comes for His bride, the Church. Let's seek to hear the words from our precious Master, "Well, done, my good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord!" (Matthew 25:21) |
